Flowers and bulbs such as tulips, carnations and roses constitute most of the agricultural products sold by the Netherlands. While milk and dairy products are in the second place, meat exports are in the third place.

A large part of the Netherlands, which is 23 times smaller than Turkey’s on average and has a land area of approximately 34 thousand square kilometers, is cultivated using advanced technology in greenhouses. Water usage is 90 percent less than normal. Being a modern agricultural country, the Netherlands also attaches importance to organic production.

In this way, factors such as the fertility of the soil and the quality of the products can be controlled unmanned. The crop yield from cultivated land in the Netherlands is twice as high as in other countries.
